Psychiatric Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) - Spartanburg, SC

iTrust Wellness is looking for an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate) to join our psychiatric medication management team providing services through our hybrid in-office and telepsychiatry model. We strongly believe that the best treatment outcomes are a result of practicing evidence-based medicine and developing a partnership with the patient to understand their goals. The ideal candidate will be able to leverage their excellent knowledge of psychopharmacology for patients’ success and is equally passionate about guiding the patient towards overall wellness.

Professional Qualifications: 

• Master’s degree in nursing (APRN) or Physician Assistant Studies (PA) 

• Board certification in area of specialty: 

  • PMHNP (preferred) – new or experienced 

  • AGNP – new or experienced, if new require specific psych experience as an RN. 

  • FNP – new or experienced, if new require specific psych experience as an RN. 

  • PA-C – new or experienced, if new require specific psych experience during clinicals. 

• Active, or eligible to receive, unrestricted state licensure in South Carolina 

• Active, or eligible to receive, prescriptive authority in South Carolina 

• Active, or eligible to receive, DEA Controlled Substances licensure 

• Location: Spartanburg, South Carolina 

• Schedule:  Monday-Thursday, 7:30AM-4:30 PM; Friday, 7:30AM-1:00PM 

  • In-Office – 2 days; Remote – 3 days (after probationary period) 

  • No on-call requirement or weekends.  

• Training: Dedicated two-week training program to build upon foundation of psychiatric knowledge, wellness initiatives, and iTrust’s specific policies and procedures. 

• Appointment lengths: Initial appointments (60 minutes); Follow-Up appointments (15-30 minutes). 

• Patient population age: 18-75 

• Licensing support: Staff available to provide guidance on the licensing process in South Carolina. 

• Credentialing and enrollment support: Staff dedicated to completing the insurance credentialing process for government and commercial payers.   

• Collaboration and ongoing education: Monthly meetings with collaborative/supervising physician for case consultation and presentations, in addition to regularly cadenced all-provider meetings to discuss upcoming improvements to processes, procedures, etc. 

• Salary Range - $105,000-$120,000/year (based on experience level) 

• Licensure and CEU Stipend - $2,000/year 

• Work-from-home Equipment Stipend - $400 (one-time) 

• Paid Time Off (PTO) – 15 days (120 hours), plus one (1) day for each year of employment at iTrust for a possible maximum of 20 days (160 hours).

• Company Holidays – 5 days (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Friday after Thanksgiving) 

• Paid End-of-Year Break (Dec. 24-Jan. 1) – office-wide closure for the holidays to rest and recuperate.
