Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated clinician to provide in-home and community-based therapeutic support for youth and families. This full-time role focuses on supporting parents and youth experiencing emotional and behavioral challenges throughout Ottawa County.
The therapist will utilize evidence-based models (MST, MST-PSB, and PSB-CBT) to assess needs, develop treatment plans, and address behavioral health concerns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of 4-6 families, working with youth aged 7-17.
- Conduct home-based and community-based sessions weekly.
- Implement evidence-based interventions incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Structural and Strategic Family Therapy, and social-ecological approaches.
- Address concerns such as truancy, delinquency, problematic sexual behaviors, and adherence to age-appropriate expectations.
- Support parents in developing and improving skills.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, social services, juvenile justice, and school professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Engage in intensive initial and ongoing training and supervision specific to each intervention model.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in social work or counseling; Master’s degree preferred
- Active Ohio licensure (LSW, LISW, LMFT, LPC, or LPCC)
- Spanish language fluency is a plus
- Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience working in child welfare and knowledge of trauma-informed practices.
- Valid driver’s license, clean motor vehicle record (MVR), and reliable transportation.
