Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a Financial Planner to work in the Toledo, OH area. Financial Planner – Because Clients Deserve More Than Just "Advice” Most financial planners say they put clients first. Few actually do. Our client is a family-owned wealth management firm that's grown by $100M in the last year. No ads, no pushy sales tactics—just referral-based growth from clients who trust them. Now, they need a Financial Planner who can handle that kind of momentum. Someone who can roll up their sleeves, support their lead advisor and manage client portfolios like they actually matter—because they do. What You'll Be Doing : Working alongside our lead advisor to develop financial plans that aren't just PDF decorations. Managing investment portfolios with precision, making sure they align with clients' goals and risk tolerance. Leading the charge on our financial planning software—brainstorming, tweaking, and making sure it actually delivers value. Running the numbers, generating reports, and tracking client progress like a pro. Having real conversations with clients—explaining complex financial stuff in ways that actually make sense to them. Keeping up with market trends, investment products, and compliance requirements—because the industry moves fast, and we need to stay ahead. Creating an experience that makes clients say, "Wow, I actually trust my financial planner.” What You'll Need : CFP certification (preferred) However, they are open to a rockstar without that already knows the in's and out's of the business (10 YOE) OR someone with 5 years of experience that is interested in obtaining the certification. Series 65 or comparable license (so you can do the job legally). At least 3 years of client-facing experience in investment management. A deep understanding of financial planning software and investment tools. Tech-savviness—AI tools, Salesforce, financial modeling—you need to be comfortable in a digital-first environment. Communication skills that don't rely on jargon to sound impressive. The ability to juggle multiple client relationships without dropping the ball. This is an in-office role. Every. Single. Day.
