What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Supervisor position at ITS - Integrated Talent Strategies?
ITS has a client in the Toledo, OH area seeking a 2nd shift Maintenance Tech. This is a direct hire role with full benefits including 401k.
Position Summary
- Utilizing Total Preventative Maintenance principles develop and implement a Preventative Maintenance schedule for all manufacturing equipment in the facility.
- Attend pre-shift and post-shift crossover team meeting
- Perform daily start-up and shutdown procedures.
- Repair any manufacturing equipment in the event of a failure.
- Maintain a spare parts inventory for all manufacturing equipment in the facility.
- Perform necessary in-house projects. Keep an up-to-date log of the timing of these projects.
- Perform any facility repairs as needed
- Identify and correct any safety issues inside the facility.
- Work with outside companies to perform any required projects that are not completed with internal resources.
- Complete all required paperwork (shift notes, PM logs, work order documents, etc.) as instructed by the Team Leader / Manager.
- Monitor installation of new equipment by contractors.
- Maintain and improve our 5S standards.
- Perform another task as assigned by the Team Leader, Shift Supervisor, or Manager
