Job Title: 1st Shift Maintenance/PLC Technician
Description:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance/PLC Technician to join our team at an industrial manufacturing facility in Hartford City. The ideal candidate will have experience with preventative/predictive maintenance, equipment inspection, and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and maintain equipment, machinery, and tools to ensure safe and proper operating conditions.
- Document PM through the Maintenance Manager for equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Conduct daily inspections of equipment and report any issues or concerns to the General Manager.
- Submit requests for machine replacement parts, equipment, or components for approval and authorization.
- Follow all safety precautions on repairs to equipment, machinery, and tools per MPI's/OSHA requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred.
- 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in injection molding or related machinery.
- Familiarity with PLCs, motion control systems, and ControlLogix Safety processors and networks.
- Ability to program PLC and Robotic controllers.
- Solid understanding of hydraulics, electricity, and pneumatics principles.
- Strong troubleshooting and repair skills using schematics, blueprints, and sketches.
