What are the responsibilities and job description for the Procurement Assistant III (SCA) position at ITSC Secure Solutions?
Provide points of contact to manage day-to-day customer interactions to include:
- Address SMD issues and concerns.
- Provide updates and reports to program offices, as requested; and represent GMS in meetings, as required.
- Review technical requirements packages for funding requirements and technical officer required documentation.
- Coordinate the receipt of complete technical requirement packages by contacting the responsible NASA technical organization promptly if any element of the package is incorrect or incomplete.
- Prepare the funding spreadsheet for Purchase Requisition (PR) completion.
- Monitor the availability of funding and grant recipient expenditures.
- Provide de-obligation forms as requested.
- Create and maintain PR automation processes and procedures.
- Retrieve technical requirements packages from NSPIRES to review them for accuracy and completion and identify funding requirements. Also review to determine all technical officer required documents are accurately completed and received.
- Ensure the budget justification and the technical officer required documentation is included.
- Prepare funding requisition documentation to provide initial funding prior to award and additional funding requisitions as required (Grants are generally awarded for 5-years but must be reviewed annually); and monitor the status of funding and expenditures for individual grants in NASA’s Research and Analysis Program Tracking of Resources (RAPTOR) system and provide status as required to NASA technical officers and HQs program offices.

Compensation: SCA Position with Hourly Rate and H&W mapped to Personnel Assistant III
- High school Diploma
- 8 years' experience providing similar support as outlined in the job description.
- Must be able to obtain NASA public trust clearance.
- Travel to work as needed by the client.
