Position Overview:
ITSC Secure Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Resource Advisor (RA) to join our team at Maxwell AFB, AL. The RA serves as a critical financial advisor to the Delta 13 Commander and Senior Leaders, providing expert guidance and support for all aspects of budgetary planning, execution, and compliance. The RA plays a key role in ensuring the responsible and effective management of financial resources to support Delta 13's mission.
Responsibilities:
- Budgetary Planning and Execution: Develop, manage, and oversee the budget for Delta 13, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with financial regulations.
- Financial Analysis: Interpret financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with DoD and USSF regulations and policies.
- Reporting: Prepare and present detailed financial reports to the Delta 13 Commander and Senior Leaders.
- Resource Allocation: Advise on the allocation of financial resources to support mission-critical activities.
- System Management: Utilize DEAMS, DTS, and other relevant financial management systems to track and manage financial transactions.
- Communication: Clearly and concisely explain complex financial information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Problem-Solving: Address and resolve financial issues, providing strategic solutions to enhance financial performance.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 5-7 years in a financial management or resource advisor role, preferably within a DoD or USSF environment.
- Technical Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in DEAMS, DTS, and other relevant financial management systems.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely explain complex financial information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing deadlines, and work independently.
