Engineering Co-op (Fall 2025)
Location: Seneca Falls, NY
Duration: August to December 2025
Rate of pay: $25-30/hour, depending on level of degree program
This is a full-time, 40 hour per week position reporting to our office in Seneca Falls, NY
Overview:
ITT is excited to offer multiple Engineering Co-op opportunities for the Fall 2025 semester, providing hands-on experience in areas like product design, development, and engineering. When you apply to this posting, you may be considered for any of our co-op roles within our Engineering organization. Candidates will ultimately be selected for one position based on their skills, interests, and fit with the team’s needs. Your assigned role will focus on specific responsibilities within one of our Engineering teams.

As an Engineering Co-op, your role will focus on one or more of the following areas, with responsibilities such as:
Design and Product Development:
- Creating CAD drawings for new and existing products.
- Assisting with mechanical design drawings, 3D modeling, and Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
- Generating and evaluating prototype performance data to ensure product quality and efficiency.
- Supporting engineering change notices and technical documentation for various products.
Process and Tool Development:
- Developing and documenting engineering processes, tools, and standards.
- Analyzing and updating technical product data and procedures.
- Collaborating on the creation of business case materials, tools, and workflows.
Testing and Lab Work:
- Participating in lab setups, product testing, and hands-on engineering activities.
- Assisting with performance testing, data analysis, and troubleshooting.
Product Management and Market Research:
- Supporting the development and implementation of Voice of Customer (VOC) surveys and questionnaires.
- Compiling and analyzing market and customer data to improve product development.
- Collaborating on marketing materials and strategies for various platforms, including social media and print.
To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following qualifications:
Education:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field, with a strong academic standing.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in CAD software (PTC Creo preferred), Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of 3D modeling and other engineering tools is required.
- Familiarity with MS Office Suite, including Word and Outlook.
Experience:
- Previous co-op or internship experience in mechanical or product engineering is a plus.
- Experience in product design, development, and testing is a plus.
Other Skills:
- Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
