Position Summary
The Director of Digital Enablement will play a key leadership role in providing actionable insights that will drive overall performance, influence decisions, and create value throughout Finance Resource Center (FRC) globally. The individual will work closely with the FRC Leaders to provide foresight data analytics that will help the Operations teams maintain their KPIs at a green level and drive a culture of data driven decision making. This role will support various teams globally throughout FRC and across different workstreams including OTC, RTR, PTP, Treasury, Payroll, and others. The objective would be to prepare ITT to scale up to the company’s vision effectively & efficiently. The individual will lead a team of Sr Business Analysts.
Essential Responsibilities
- Find and illustrate the “story” in the data and communicate insights and opportunities with Operations teams across FRC
- Collaborate with stakeholders across workstreams (OTC, RTR, PTP) to craft improvements in analytics that will ensure success with a focus on continuous improvement, efficiency, and operational perfection
- Influence and support the design of robust business reporting, visualization, and impact analyses. Drive value added reporting back to the business
- Partner with Operational leaders to identify data challenges and take actions that will deliver the highest impact
- Buildout an Automation COE (Center of Excellence) model for the FRC, drive Automation Evangelism culture, identify opportunities through a task mapping (Time & Motion Exercise) to drive individual productivity
- Own strategy and support all Enabling Technologies used by the FRC (Get Paid, Concur, Coupa, Abby, Serrala, ADP)
- Partner with the IT Business Intelligence team to operationalize analytics-sourced self-service reporting and other tools
- Identify and define appropriate measures of performance, baselines, benchmarks, success criteria, effectiveness, and leading/lagging indicators along with the calculations, interpretations, and analysis of results to support the design, development, and deployment of analytics via dashboards and reports
- Drive best practices and innovative ideas to continuously improve project execution and collaboration with stakeholders and ensure that all models are effectively scaled
- Lead team performing data mining, cleansing, and manipulation; identify necessary data elements and their sources, leverage appropriate tools to acquire and consolidate large volumes of data from different sources
- Evaluate and drive the review of tradeoffs between project size and complexity, urgency, risk, and stakeholder value in order to prioritize requests
Position Requirements
- 15 years of progressive work experience in finance, automation, digital enabling technologies with 5 years of leading a global digital team in a shared services environment
- Solid knowledge of accounting workstreams including OTC, RTR and PTP
- Analytical and problem-solving capacities to synthesize large quantities of complex data to generate meaningful insights
- Strong acumen in quantitative analytics and structured problem solving
- Proficiency with data analysis tools like SQL and ETL concept,
- Experience with RPA tools like UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, Work Fusion is desired.
- Alteryx Knowledge a plus
- Working knowledge and business application of quantitative models
- Demonstrated ability to translate data / analyses into visualizations such as graphs, charts etc. which business stakeholders can understand.
- Strong business and problem-solving acumen Proficiency with data analysis
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including advanced Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Power BI, Power Apps experience
- Experience in a Performance Management team/role would be a plus
- Proven ability to interact with multiple levels of leadership both internally and externally, and influence peers and senior management in a complex, geographically dispersed matrix organization
