We are looking for an intern to join our team for the summer. This is an 8 week internship, 4 weeks will be spent with our Legal team reporting to our VP, Deputy General Counsel & Assistant Secretary, and 4 weeks will be spent with our Audit team, reporting to our VP, Audit.

Essential Responsibilities
- Handling office tasks, such as filing, generating reports and presentations;
- Organizing and maintaining files (electronic and paper files)
- Preparing legal correspondence, drafts of simple agreements and other documents under the supervision of the Legal team
- Performing factual and legal research into case law and precedents
- Final review for typos and layout of legal documents
- Help document and assess internal controls
- Support audit initiatives, including optimizing audit tools and improving efficiency
- Assist with documenting and assessing the effectiveness of company policies and procedures
- Collect and analyze data to identify trends and potential issues
- Support audit teams in executing audit programs
- Support with other matters as requested by the corporate team
- High school diploma
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Law, or another related discipline
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple pending matters and to work effectively in a multi-tasking environment
- Expert user of Microsoft Office applications particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
