  • Motion Technologies: (Revenue of $1.4B; headcount of ~ 4,000; operates in 13 countries) manufactures brake components and specialized sealing solutions, shock absorbers and damping technologies primarily for the global automotive, truck and trailer, public bus and rail transportation markets.
  • Industrial Process: (Revenue of $1.4B; headcount of ~3,400; operates in 30 countries) manufactures engineered fluid process equipment serving a diversified mix of customers in global industries such as chemical, energy, mining, and other industrial process markets and is a provider of plant optimization and efficiency solutions and aftermarket services and parts.
  • Connect and Control Technologies: (Revenue of $0.8B; headcount of ~ 3,800; operates in 10 countries) manufactures harsh-environment connector solutions, critical energy absorption, flow control components, and composite materials for the aerospace and defense, general industrial, medical, and energy markets.

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Western Regional Sales Manager to drive business development and sales growth for our highly engineered and precision Radio Frequency (RF) connectors within the Aerospace and Defense industries. This individual will be responsible for expanding our market presence, cultivating strong relationships with medium to large aerospace and defense customers, and ensuring our RF solutions are effectively integrated into their systems.

The ideal candidate has deep industry expertise , a strong technical understanding of RF connectors, and an established network within the defense and aerospace sectors. This position is offered as a remote role with 50% or more travel requirements.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Business Development & Sales Strategy
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Western U.S. aerospace and defense markets.
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue growth targets.
  • Expand the company’s presence in key accounts and penetrate new markets.
  • Customer Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with engineers, procurement teams, and executives at medium to large aerospace and defense firms.
  • Understand customer needs, product applications, and technical requirements for RF connectivity solutions.
  • Provide expert consultation on RF connector integration into aerospace and defense systems.
  • Technical Sales & Support
  • Leverage technical knowledge to articulate the value of our RF connector solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to deliver customized solutions for customers.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations.
  • Market & Competitive Analysis
  • Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activity.
  • Provide market feedback to the product development team to support innovation.
  • Collaboration & Reporting
  • Work closely with internal teams, including engineering, marketing, and operations, to ensure customer success.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and CRM records.
  • Report on key performance indicators and sales metrics to senior leadership.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering , Business, or a related field (preferred).
  • Willingness to travel 50%  within the Western U.S.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of sales and business development experience in RF connectors or related components.
  • Strong relationships and sales experience with medium to large Aerospace & Defense companies.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Technical Knowledge:
  • Deep understanding of RF connectors, and their applications in aerospace and defense systems.
  • Familiarity with military and aerospace standards related to RF connectivity.
  • Skills & Competencies:
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling business cases.
  • Strong problem-solving and consultative selling approach.

This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. Specific benefits are dependent upon whether or not the position is part of a collective-bargaining agreement. The salary offered to a candidate is based several factors such as candidate experience and qualifications, location, as well as market and business considerations.

Equal Pay Act Range

Annual salary range is from $129,900.00 to $194,300.00, plus benefits & incentive plan.
