Position Objective:
The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for safely operating a forklift to load and unload trucks, move materials within the facility, and support inventory control through cycle counting. This role ensures efficient material flow and accurate stock levels to support operations. This position plays a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy, coordinating with various teams, and ensuring that shipments are processed accurately and in a timely manner. Essential Functions
Material Handling & Shipping/Receiving
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
- Verify shipments against documentation for accuracy and report discrepancies
- Assist in staging and preparing outbound shipments, ensuring proper labeling and documentation
- Perform routine cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
- Investigate, problem solve, and resolve discrepancies in inventory records
- Follow cycle count policy
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Follow all safety protocols and forklift operation guidelines
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues
- Work collaboratively with team members to support warehouse and production needs
- Transport materials and products to designated areas within the warehouse, production, and office areas
- Completing receipts in QAD
- Prior experience in warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, or inventory control preferred
- Ability to lift up to 40-60 lbs
- Previous hilo experience with emphasis on safety and proficiency
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
- Ability to obtain a company hilo license
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and documentation
- Knowledge of ERP Systems, QAD not required, but preferred
