Position Objective:
The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for safely operating a forklift to load and unload trucks, move materials within the facility, and support inventory control through cycle counting. This position plays a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy, coordinating with various teams, and ensuring that shipments are processed accurately and in a timely manner. Essential Functions
Material Handling & Shipping/Receiving
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
- Verify shipments against documentation for accuracy and report discrepancies
- Assist in staging and preparing outbound shipments, ensuring proper labeling and documentation
- Perform routine cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
- Investigate, problem solve, and resolve discrepancies in inventory records
- Follow cycle count policy
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Follow all safety protocols and forklift operation guidelines
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues
- Work collaboratively with team members to support warehouse and production needs
- Transport materials and products to designated areas within the warehouse, production, and office areas
- Completing receipts in QAD
- Prior experience in warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, or inventory control preferred
- Ability to lift up to 40-60 lbs
- Previous hilo experience with emphasis on safety and proficiency
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
- Ability to obtain a company hilo license
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and documentation
- Knowledge of ERP Systems, QAD not required, but preferred
