What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler - Power Systems Division position at ITW?
Job Description :
The candidate must be a self-starter, conscientious and enthusiastic with positive attitude in order to assist material team in receiving, shipping, returns, NCN’s, cycle counts, WAC orders and parts delivery.
Job Description
- 25-40% of the position requires computer work (10 hours or more during 40 hour work week)
- Management of supplier performance data : RGA's and NCN's
- Effective communication with carriers / suppliers on quality and delivery issues
- Late order follow up : point of contact for mfg. employee concerns regarding late orders
- Third Party Orders : B.O.L, P.O. Entry, Part Tracking, Supplier Communication, Receiving, Shipping, Freightview etc.)
- Receive orders into Macola as required
- Handle RGA returns to / from business unit
- Complete material management improvement projects utilizing ITW's MRD, Kanban and in-lining principles
- MRD Cards : cross off due dates for received parts
- Cycle Count Experience : contribute to cycle counts within the division
