$2,500 SIGN-ON / RETENTION BONUS! $250 paid at hire, $500 paid at 3/6/9 months, $750 paid after one year of employment.
Schedule is M-F 8:00am to 4:30pm. Compensation based on qualifications.
The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible to efficiently and accurately process incoming and outgoing shipments. This includes receiving deliveries, maintaining records, preparing and coordinating shipments, and maintaining warehouse and storage locations.

The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible to efficiently and accurately process incoming and outgoing shipments. This includes receiving deliveries, maintaining records, preparing and coordinating shipments, and maintaining warehouse and storage locations.
Essential Duties
- Prepare materials for shipment by sealing boxes, creating and applying shipping labels, palletizing products, staging shipments for pick up, and loading trucks.
- Prepare and compile shipping documentation including packing slip, quality certificate, bill of lading, and export documents.
- Schedule outbound freight pick-ups with applicable carriers.
- Accept deliveries, including unloading trucks and verifying accuracy of inbound shipments by comparing items received to packings slip, purchase order, and certificates of analysis/conformance.
- Maintains records by logging receipt or shipment of goods into computerized inventory system and delivering documents to internal locations (physical or electronic).
- Deliver raw materials and indirect items to designated locations by hand carrying, dolly, pallet jack, forklift or other material handling equipment.
- Create, update and maintain visual Kanban and 2-bin replenishment systems and submit reorder notifications.
- Perform physical inventory cycle counts and assist others in resolution of cycle count discrepancies.
- Comply with state and federal environmental and safety regulations, company quality standards, and company policies and procedures.
- Keep work areas and storage locations organized and clean according to 5S principles and guidelines.

- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant shipping and receiving experience preferred.
- Forklift certification and DOT Hazardous Material Handling experience preferred. Training and certification will be provided as needed.
- Proficient with computer programs including Microsoft Office.
- Experience with ERP and inventory control systems.
- Knowledge of international shipping documents.
- High level of organization, accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong prioritization, critical thinking, and time management skills.
- Good problem solving, interpersonal and team skills, and ability to work well with others.
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Be a self-starter, able to work efficiently with minimal supervision, and perform well in a team-oriented environment.
- The position requires frequent walking, standing, bending, squatting, kneeling, twisting/turning, and reaching outward and upward; continual use of hands/fingers to perform tasks; occasional pushing and pulling up to 50 lbs.; lifting or carrying up to 40 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Work is generally performed in a combination of office and manufacturing environments with exposure to heat, cold, machinery, and contained chemicals.
