Job Description
Responsible for administration activities for training courses for Miller’s channel partners, independent service centers and end use customers. Administration activities include registrations, cancellations, scheduling, reporting, database documentation, course materials, lunches, and lodging. Will work both individually and as part of a team to execute successful trainings and system optimizations.
Qualifications
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Maintain computerized records including student progress and failure reports, class rosters, schedule changes, etc.
- Process new student records, including entering student data into appropriate databases.
- Assist trainers and sales team with the enrollment, withdrawals, and transfer of students and process applicable records.
- Provide trainers and/or sales with reports and student data information.
- Prepare and distribute student training certifications, Miller Masters packages, registration notifications, etc.
- Coordinate the ordering and distribution lunches and materials needed for training classes.
- Manages the training records (booking of hotels, training rooms, sending information to participants, billing information, etc)
- Present training courses designed for new channel partners to help them get started with Miller
- Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.)
- Assists in maintaining annual, monthly budgets, billing records, and invoicing.
- Supports the organization with technical Issues
- Maintain confidentiality of information.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:
- Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant or relevant role
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Excellent organizational and multitasking ability
- Strong attention to detail
- Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
- Apply Business simplification principles to all the above functions
- Be a great communicator of activities and learnings to training team and management.
- Follow up with supervisor on completed tasks and accomplishments.
- Support the overall vision and strategy of the of the company and training department
- Other duties as assigned by the Training Manager.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience as a Training Administrator, HR Assistant or similar role
- Training experience is strongly preferred
- Proficient in MS Office; working knowledge of databases and Learning Management Systems (LMS) is a plus
- High school diploma: BSc/BA in office administration or relevant field is preferred
