Work at Evergreen Treatment Services and make a difference in our community!
Job Summary
Evergreen Treatment Services (ETS) is a mission-driven nonprofit organization specializing in substance use treatment and homeless outreach services. ETS has been serving the Puget Sound region for more than 50 years. Our work is organized into two areas: Clinic Services and REACH.
Our Clinic Services team provides medication, counseling, and treatment to more than 4,500 people with opioid use disorder annually at three clinics in Seattle, Renton, and Olympia, Washington. REACH provides street-based social services for more than 6,000 people living outside or unstably housed, many of whom have had interactions with the criminal legal system. Many ETS participants have endured trauma and harm from broken and oppressive institutional systems that are often the root cause of their substance use. We strive to uplift the humanity and dignity of each person we serve as we walk alongside them on their journey to better their lives.
While ETS’ funding portfolio includes both private and public dollars, ETS’ philanthropic arm is in growth mode. In additional to annual fundraising efforts, ETS is embarking on a capital campaign to redevelop our largest clinic site, as well as the purchase and development of a new flagship site for our REACH programs. The Senior Grants Manager will manage the entirety of the grants and contracts pipeline from prospect research to calendar management to report submission—and will execute the bulk of the grant writing for the majority of proposals. The Grants Manager reports to the VP of Philanthropy & Communications, is a member of the organization Leadership Council, and works closely with key internal stakeholders (leadership, finance, program managers, etc.) to ensure that grant proposals are competitive and submitted on-time. This position directly contributes to resource development for our programs and services, leading to better life outcomes for the communities we serve.
The work environment is deadline orientated, dynamic, fast-paced and one must be able to quickly adapt to a continually evolving landscape. This role requires a high level of detail, organization, and proactive communication. Ideal candidate must be an excellent and artful writer. Benefits include paid dues in professional organizations.
Please submit 2-3 grant writing samples along with your cover letter and resume. Pdf documents preferred.
