Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dental Lab Technician to join our innovative team in Tampa, Florida. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in 3D printing and finishing dental prosthetics, coupled with a passion for excellence and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
Responsibilities of Lab Technician:
- 3D Printing: Operate and maintain 3D printers to fabricate dental prosthetics and components with precision and accuracy.
- Finishing: Utilize various finishing techniques, including sanding, polishing, and glazing, to ensure a high-quality and aesthetically pleasing finish on dental prosthetics.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet stringent quality standards.
- Technical Expertise: Stay updated on the latest advancements in 3D printing technology and dental laboratory techniques.
- Collaboration: Work closely with dental professionals and other team members to understand their requirements and deliver customized solutions.
Qualifications of the Lab Technician:
- Experience: Proven experience as a Dental Lab Technician, with a strong background in 3D printing and finishing dental prosthetics.
- Minimum of 3 years experience working in a Dental Lab or similar setting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating various 3D printing equipment and using dental laboratory finishing tools.
- Ability to utilize, calibrate, configure, and troubleshoot dental laboratory systems and instruments.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications such as MS Office.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of dental anatomy, terminology, and laboratory procedures.
- Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering, and inventory control.
- Knowledge of current technological developments/trends in area of expertise.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality work consistently.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges and find effective solutions.
- Teamwork: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team environment.
