Weekend REQ : One weekend day a month (4 hours if higher census)
Is on-call REQ? Yes - One weekend day a month (4 hours if higher census)
Open to accommodating block schedule? Yes - M-F schedule

Pending State License accepted : No. IN-STATE LICENSE / REQUIRED CERTS MUST BE IN HAND TO SUB
RTO Restrictions : Must work 2 / 3 major holidays
Guaranteed Hours : 8 and 10 hr. shifts - 40 hrs. in one workweek. 3, 12 hr shifts - 36 hrs. in one workweek. 4, 12 hr. shifts - 48 hrs. in one workweek.
Job Requirements
Certs REQ : CCC for ASHA, IN state license, BLS
Special Requirements : Aphasia, apraxia, dementia / alzheimers, head injury, progressive neurological disease
Effective 11 / 30 / 24, IU Health will not allow IN RN’s to work at their facilities (SEE EXCEPTIONS BELOW).

Unit Specific Information
Unit Information : ICU to progressive care units with diagnoses of CVA, TBI, dementia / Alzheimers, respiratory illnesses, MS, Parkinson etc. SLPs are expected to evaluate, develop plan of care that may include treatment for aphasia, dysphagia, dysarthria, trach-care and speaking valve placement, cognition, performing and interpreting VFSS, and patient and family education.
