Certification Details NIHSS ACLS BLS Job Details Candidates MUST have NIHSS in hand to be considered IU Health is now offering charge pay, which is a $3.00 bill rate bump per hour MUST BE FLEXIBLE WITH WEEKEND REQUIREMENTS, WEEKEND REQUIREMENT WILL BE BASED ON UNIT NEEDS. TRAVELERS MUST BE ABLE TO WORK 50% OF THE WEEKENDS IN THEIR CONTRACT. IU Health University and Methodist are teaching facilities and require all travel nurses to agree to the possibility of precepting and / or being assigned students to shadow them while on assignment. Traveler must have IN / Compact license in hand or have submitted their fingerprint application package for their license to apply for this position. Locals : NOT accepted Shift Requirements : 3x12s ONLY Call-Ins : If a traveler call-ins for a contracted shift, the traveler is expected to 1) make up the day during the pay period, if a 0.9 FTE. OR 2) if a 0.9 FTE and unable to make up during the pay period, then the shift will be added at the end of the traveler contract 3) If a 1.2 FTE, any call-in shifts will be added to the end of the contract Charge coverage : Pending operational needs, unit charge nurse responsibilities may be needed with provided training and resources. Job Requirements Minimum 3 Year Experience Neuro Intensive Care Unit Level 1 Trauma Experience Interpretation of dysrhythmias Management of dysrhythmias ICP IV Starts Traveler must have IN / Compact license in hand or have submitted their fingerprint application package for their license to apply for this position.
