Certification Details BLS - Basic Life Support ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Job Details IU Health is now offering charge pay, which is a $3.00 bill rate bump per hour MUST BE FLEXIBLE WITH WEEKEND REQUIREMENTS, WEEKEND REQUIREMENT WILL BE BASED ON UNIT NEEDS. TRAVELERS MUST BE ABLE TO WORK 50% OF THE WEEKENDS IN THEIR CONTRACT. REFUSAL TO FLOAT MAY END IN TERMINATION OF CONTRACT IU Health University and Methodist are teaching facilities and require all travel nurses to agree to the possibility of precepting and / or being assigned students to shadow them while on assignment. First Time Travelers Accepted Trauma Level I experience REQUIRED 2 years of experience REQUIRED Locals : NOT accepted Shift Requirements : 3x12's ONLY Call-Ins : If a traveler call-ins for a contracted shift, the traveler is expected to 1) make up the day during the pay period, if a 0.9 FTE. OR 2) if a 0.9 FTE and unable to make up during the pay period, then the shift will be added at the end of the traveler contract 3) If a 1.2 FTE, any call-in shifts will be added to the end of the contract Charge coverage : Pending operational needs, unit charge nurse responsibilities may be needed with provided training and resources.
