Certification Details BLS - Basic Life Support PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support Job Details IU Health is now offering charge pay, which is a $3.00 bill rate bump per hour First Time Travelers : Yes Will accept PICU RN and train on CVPICU Minimum Experience Required : 2 Years Staffing Ratios : 1 : 1-2 Unit Information : 23 bed Cardiac ICU. ranked per USNWR 5 in the nation and 1 in Midwest for last 2 years. Care for complex heart patients, VAD patients, heart transplant program. Job Requirements IN LICENSE AND CERTS MUST BE IN HAND TO SUBMIT Skillset Requirements : Telemetry, Vents Effective 11 / 30 / 24, IU Health will not allow IN RN’s to work at their facilities (SEE EXCEPTIONS BELOW). Periop / OR RN’s, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. Schedule Information Shift Requirements : 3x12s and 4x12s available; Every other weekend required; Float required - cardiac stepdown unit, PICU Unit Specific Information 23 bed Cardiac ICU. ranked per USNWR 5 in the nation and 1 in Midwest for last 2 years. Care for complex heart patients, VAD patients, heart transplant program. Additional Details Valid Driver’s License or Passport accepted. Must be clear copy. Medication Test / Pharmacology exam required. Not required for Techs or RRTS HIPAA Acknowledgement required. Online Verification of License to include expiration date and any disciplinary actions (within 30 days before start date). Must be through primary source.
