RTO Restrictions : Must work 2 / 3 major holidays.
Float : Would only be to take medsurg patients, either in ICU / PCU or ED for holds. Not likely to occur, but possible. EOW coverage
Unit details : This is the lone medsurg unit in a community hospital. It takes patients from OR / ED / downgrades from ICU / PCU. Average 8-12 admits to the unit over a 24 hour period. Unit goal is to be at 5 : 1 patient ratio with charge out of staffing. However, flexing to 6 : 1 does occur.
