Job Details
First Time Travelers Accepted : Yes
Shift Requirements : 2x12, Holiday coverage and every other weekend required (Saturday, Sunday)
Float Required : Yes, at times may have to float to surrounding facilities. Will be required to rotate in the following areas : Emergency Department, Adult ICU, Adult Med surg unit, Adult Progressive Care Unit. Our ED is full-service community based Emergency department so will candidate will be required to assist with some pediatric care as applicable in the emergency room.
Must have : BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications.
Required to work 2 of the 3 holidays- the leadership team will determine the 2 holidays (if have any).
Skillset Requirements : Adult Critical Care, Emergency Department, L&D, NICU, Pediatrics, Airway management (Endrotracheal tube / suctioning, extubation, intubation assist, nasal airway placement, oral airway placement, tracheostomy / suctioning), Aerosol set up mask, Aerosol set up trach, Nebulizer (heated, trach collar), vent management (BiPAP, CPAP, weaning from mechanical ventilation), O2 Therapy (high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), Suction, Neonatal / Pediatrics (Assist in high risk delivery, CPAP / Nasal CPAP / BiPAP, Oscillating Ventilator). Cerner experience required.
Minimum Experience Required : 2 years
Unit Info : Facility is a community based facility that needs a traveler to be able to float between high risk deliveries and NICU II, Adult acute care and ER. This position is not a home based position but will float to meet the needs and skill set on arrival. Best fit would be Adult travelers with Labor and delivery experience.

AHA ONLY. RQI is acceptable for BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications.
