Overview
We are currently expanding our leadership team to better support front line team members. This candidate will be very involved in planning and designing work flows for the new IU Health hospital. Previous leadership experience preferred.
This position exists to provide for the effective recruitment, retention, supervision and leadership of assigned employees in the Pharmacy Department. Manages ongoing analysis, development, and implementation of methods and systems to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness of services and functions.
• BS degree in Pharmacy or related field preferred. Requires current Indiana license or eligibility for Indiana licensure as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Pharmacy Technician National Certification Board (PTCB) certification preferred. Requires knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to dispensing of drugs and narcotics.
• Requires knowledge of pharmacy and hospital computer systems and computer-assisted devices.
• Requires knowledge in business applications.
• Requires ability to plan and manage the utilization of resources.
• Requires ability to facilitate and lead work groups.
• Requires ability to apply the organization personnel policies and procedures.
