About The Role
As a Design-Build Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing projects from conceptual design through construction completion. You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure that projects meet design intent, budget, and schedule requirements. This role requires a keen eye for design while maintaining a strong grasp of construction management principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage design-build projects from inception to completion.
- Work closely with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless integration of design and construction.
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
- Review and approve design documents, ensuring constructability and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct site visits and provide guidance to project teams.
- Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among all project stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with a design-build firm.
- Strong knowledge of design principles and construction methodologies.
- Experience managing budgets, contracts, and project schedules.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera, Bluebeam, or similar).
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
