Job Description
- Team with Project Manager
- Training, scheduling, and managing site field staff
- Make it look easy. Keep your stakeholders informed, comfortable and always go above and beyond to ensure we are Building Brilliantly!
- Overall responsibility for all project field activities including subcontractors, suppliers, etc.
- Own the site and everything that happens on it. Complete on-site management of subs and resources
- Overall responsibility for project safety, schedule and quality
- Own SAFETY. Ensure everyone goes home safe
- Own the schedule. No excuse attitude for making schedules
- Managing cost is still a primary goal. Anyone can spend a lot of money to accomplish the mission. Staying on budget and accomplishing the mission is your responsibility
- Own quality. Quality will set us apart and develop repeat customers
- Primary contact to Owners, Users, Design Team, etc. for field related/constructability issues
- Ensure project documentation is accurate, timely & properly presented
- Be a part of the preconstruction team. Take buyout seriously, ensure scopes are covered, and make sure we buy the conditions and schedule for the project
- Report out, we do not want you to work in a vacuum or feel like you aren't supported. Ensure you and your team are keeping Procore up to date and alert someone if you are having issues. Remember we are a team. Don't let it go too long, it will not be easier later.
- Look ahead. Your experience to anticipate what comes next is key to our success. Stay weeks ahead so we never get behind. Don’t wait for someone to tell you there is an issue, let the team know you see an issue coming. Solve the problem
- Document, document, document. If you don’t have documentation on a jobsite, it didn’t happen.
- Promote and train your team. The future is tied to us training our staff now. Provide opportunities for your team to learn. Let them be involved and learn how to manage from you.
- Help make work fun. Working hard and playing even harder to help develop and maintain a positive work culture.

- Education: - B.S. in Construction Management or related engineering discipline or equivalent work experience in commercial construction.
- 5-7 years’ experience as a Project Superintendent
- Required Software Proficiency: Office Suite, BlueBeam, MS Project, Proco
- Software considered as a Plus: Revit, P6, Autocad, etc..
- Required Certifications (will be provided as part of onboarding if not current) :
- Procore
- 30-Hr OSHA training
- NPDES Blue Card
