Iuvo Systems is looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Professional to aggressively expand our client base and drive revenue growth.
This Sales position will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities within government contractors and federal agencies. This individual must be a proactive salesperson, exceptional negotiation skills, and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, competitive environment and is relentless in achieving sales success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to aggressively acquire new clients within government contractors and federal, state & local agencies.
- Lead generation, prospect, qualify, and close deals through cold calling, networking, events, and leveraging industry contacts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, procurement officers, and contract managers.
- Understand and effectively communicate the value proposition of our accounting & finance, data analytics & reporting, and enterprise solution services.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract execution.
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and client satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends, government procurement regulations, and competitor activities.
- Work alongside the Marketing Director to develop monthly industry-specific email campaigns.
- Provide weekly pipeline updates to the leadership team.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven track record of aggressive sales success, preferably in government contracting, professional services, or staffing solutions.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Highly motivated, self-driven, and goal-oriented mindset.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with senior-level executives and procurement professionals.
- Experience with maintaining accurate records and real-time updates in Salesforce.
- Experience with using data intelligence platforms for lead generation (ex-ZoomInfo, RocketReach, Datanyze).
- Ability to travel (up to 50%) to meet prospects and attend industry events/conferences.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Existing network of contacts within government contracting and federal agencies.
- Experience selling professional services, outsourced accounting, business consulting, or staffing services.
- Knowledge of government procurement processes, contract vehicles (GSA, IDIQ, etc.), and compliance requirements.
- A degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (BS/MS/MBA)
