We are looking for a PRN Registered Nurse who will be responsible for delivery of patient care. The nurse must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills in the care of his/her patients, working in a patient home environment and be able to assist full-time staff when needed.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Possess a current license to practice as a registered professional nurse or licensed practical nurse in the state of Georgia
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of two (2) years nursing experience and preferably one of the two years in an acute, oncology home health, and/or hospice setting.
- Knowledge of the Medicare Certified Hospice Program preferred.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Possess a valid driver’s license in the state of Georgia.
- Ability to either drive or have available reliable transportation and present evidence of valid automobile liability insurance.
- Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, and to comprehend written and verbal communication.
- Ability to operate computer equipment, fax, and copier machines.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule.
- Ability to work well within an interdisciplinary team setting as well as independently.
- Ability to work with patients and families dealing with life-threatening illness and death.
- Ability to assess and respond to the needs of patients and families in varied settings.
- Demonstrates skill in nursing practice, ability to cope with family’s emotional stress, and tolerance of individual lifestyles.
- Ability to make meaningful observations and write comprehensive accurate reports.
- Demonstrates excellence in managing human resource requirements
- Demonstrates effective public speaking skills and the ability to develop good interpersonal relationships.
