Position Overview
The Assistant Clinic Director is a hands-on leadership role assisting in daily operations, team management, and IV therapy administration. This position provides clinical expertise, ensures compliance, and fosters a positive patient and team experience.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical & Patient Care
- Oversee IV therapy administration, including starting IVs, monitoring infusions, and ensuring patient safety.
- Perform client assessments (vitals, contraindications, and wellness goals).
- Educate clients on IV therapy benefits, protocols, and post-care recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, infection prevention, and professional standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and treatments.
Leadership & Operations
- Serve as a backup to the Clinic Director in daily operations and staff management.
- Lead training & education for IV therapy procedures, safety protocols, and client interactions.
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and developing staff to ensure high performance.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented environment that aligns with company culture and values.
- Monitor staff performance, engagement, and productivity in partnership with HR.
- Lead goal-setting, coaching, and career development efforts for employees.
- Identify high-potential employees for leadership opportunities and added responsibilities.
Clinic Growth & Client Experience
- Ensure a high-quality, welcoming client experience through staff training and operational excellence.
- Support marketing and client engagement efforts to drive business growth.
- Assist in conflict resolution and maintaining a professional, positive work environment.
- Act as a point of escalation for client concerns, ensuring smooth resolution.
Qualifications
- Must be licensed as one of the following:
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Paramedic
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum 2 years of IV infusion or vascular access experience.
- At least 2 years of leadership/management experience preferred in a clinical or wellness setting, however, for the right candidate, we would be willing to train in management.
- Strong IV placement skills with high success in accessing peripheral veins.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR), Google Drive, and clinic operations.
- Ability to motivate, train, and develop staff to enhance clinic performance.
- Strong problem-solving, organization, and time-management abilities.
Physical & Work Requirements
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and walk for extended periods during shifts.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and 100 lbs assisted.
- Strong vision capabilities (corrective lenses acceptable) for IV placement and client monitoring.
- Work in a climate-controlled, well-lit medspa clinic environment.
