What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver position at Ivan Smith Furniture?
Must be 21 or older. Pay dependent on experience – minimum $15 per hour. There are typically an average of 6 stops per day. Regular Driver’s License (Chauffeur License in Louisiana) required plus ability to obtain DOT card at company expense.
Must meet DOT requirements and have the ability to lift up to 100 pounds with or without lifting devices on a recurring basis. We are seeking someone with warehouse experience in addition to driving skills and outstanding customer service. Also, must be comfortable with smart phone/tablet functions. Delivery schedule is usually Monday through Saturday with Wednesdays off. Great benefits available including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, etc.
Acceptable drug test, background check and MVR required.
