What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental Health Supervisor/Sanitarian/Food Inspector/Health and Safety Inspector position at iVantage Group?
Qualifying Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in public health, biology, chemistry, physics, natural science, environmental science, food science, or a related field with at least 30 hours of science (biology, chemistry, physics, or statistics).
- Experience in environmental health, food safety, investigating foodborne or environmental illness outbreaks and/or plan review.
- Registered Sanitarian / Registered Environmental Health Specialist (National Environmental Health Association or State of Michigan). If the candidate is a State of Michigan Standardized Trainer, then they may be hired but must obtain the Registered Sanitarian/Registered Environmental Health Specialist Certification within 12 months of hire.
- Completion of emergency preparedness training (to include, but not limited to FEMA IS Courses 100, 200, 700 and 800) within 90 days of hire is required for this position.
- State of Michigan Operator license is required
- Certification in Incident Command Structure, crisis management, and participation in public health emergency preparedness activities in real or simulated emergencies, preferred

Pay: $56,000.00 - $73,770.00 per year
