Ivar’s Acres of Clams, Seattle's original seafood restaurant, is hiring a full-time General Manager with high-volume experience to manage operations at this iconic downtown eatery on Pier 54. This position will have a salary range between $90,000 and $105,000 per year and a potential quarterly bonus based on the restaurant's performance.
The duties of the General Manager will include:
- Partnering with the Executive Chef to oversee all aspects of the restaurant operations
- Hiring, training, and developing other managers and employees
- Maintaining Ivar's company standards for service, product quality, and cleanliness
- Ensuring unit profitability
Preferred candidates for the General Manager role at Ivar’s Acres of Clams will have:
- At least 5 years of experience managing a high-volume full-service restaurant (extensive seafood and wine knowledge preferred)
- A strong track record in controlling costs and achieving financial objectives
- The desire to hire and train the best team members and motivate them to Ivar’s high standards of service
- A positive/outgoing personality and a strong work ethic
- A valid Washington State food handler card and MAST permit
