About the Role :
This position oversees daily operations and staffing for the Ultrasound Department, ensuring regulatory compliance and supporting both clinical procedures and department planning.
Roles and Responsibilities :
Manage daily operations and staff within the Ultrasound Department.
Ensure compliance with quality imaging standards and patient record regulations.
Perform clinical ultrasound procedures and support ultrasound educators.
Assist the Radiology Manager with budgeting and long-range planning.
Provide off-hours phone support for department needs.
Job Requirements :
Graduate of an accredited Radiography program (Bachelor’s preferred).
Current ARDMS certification in Sonography.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive sonography experience, including breast ultrasound.
Experience with ACR inspections and accreditations.
Participation in project or budget planning preferred.
Preferred Qualifications :
Lead sonographer experience.
Experience in a unionized environment.
Project or budget planning experience.
Salary : $104,624 - $156,936
