Greenwich, CT Law firm is seeking a Legal Assistant to become part of our team! You will provide support to attorneys in our Litigation Department.
Responsibilities include:
- General administrative support including opening new files, maintaining client files, time entry and billing, scanning
- Drafting of general correspondence, subpoenas, affidavits, motions and pleadings
- eFiling
- eDiscovery
Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent computer skills and aptitude required
The following are preferred but not required:
- Previous Litigation experience
- Knowledge of CT Courts and practice
- Experience with use of CT Practice Book
- NY procedures and filing experience
Practice Areas of Department include:
- General civil and commercial litigation
- Employment law
- Summary Process
- Construction Disputes
Congenial work environment; office located in the heart of Greenwich.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $67,000.00 per year
