Role Description
We are seeking a skilled full-time HVAC Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and have at least 5 years of experience in maintaining, repairing, and completing diagnostics on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and efficiently to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems in commercial properties.
Duties
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including boilers, air conditioners, and heating units.
- Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics to identify issues with HVAC equipment.
- Perform necessary repairs and adjustments to ensure systems operate efficiently.
- Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address HVAC-related concerns in a timely manner.
- Provide field service support by responding to service calls and troubleshooting equipment failures.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies while on the job site.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to HVAC/Refrigeration systems and components.
- Proficient in welding techniques for equipment repair as needed.
- Experience in plumbing related to HVAC repairs.
- Familiarity with property maintenance practices.
- Ability to operate as a mechanic for various HVAC equipment.
- Valid driver's license with the capability of driving a van for field service duties.
- Knowledge of boiler/chiller systems and their maintenance requirements is a plus.
This is a full-time onsite Heating and Air Conditioning Service Technician role located in Raleigh, NC. The Service Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance and repair, preventive maintenance, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
