- Conduct cyber assessment activities including threat modeling, analysis, and analysis of mitigation solutions
- Support of local site cybersecurity services (SIEM, Vulnerability Management, EDR/MDR)
- Perform routine cyber security assessments
- Conducting security engineering/hardening of the latest operating systems, tailoring them for use in specific security baselines
- Identify, execute, and document test cases based upon:
- General project requirements
- Newly completed development work
- Areas of concern or interest as raised by client, development team, and your own personal/professional experiences
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Foundational understanding of cybersecurity concepts, including:
- Threat vectors and common attack methods (e.g., phishing, ransomware, lateral movement)
- Risk frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS, ISO 27001)
- MITRE ATT&CK Framework
- Familiarity with tools such as:
- Kali Linux, Nessus, Burp Suite, Wireshark, Splunk, CrowdStrike, or similar
- Understanding of basic scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash) and how scripting supports automation in security tasks
- Ability to learn quickly, work independently, and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Salary Range: $55,000 – $70,000k
- Relevant certifications or coursework (e.g., CompTIA Security , CySA , CEH, or equivalent)
- Internship or academic experience in cybersecurity or information security
- Familiarity with cloud security practices (e.g., Azure or AWS security)
