Responsibilities
- Manage patient accounts by processing billing, collections, and account reconciliation
- Utilize knowledge of ICD-10, ICD-9, DRG, and medical coding to ensure accurate billing
- Review and analyze medical records for proper coding and billing
- Work closely with medical office staff to resolve billing discrepancies
- Utilize various systems to update patient information and billing records
- Handle medical collections in compliance with regulations
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
