Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental clinic. This role involves working with patients of all ages, including children, and requires proficiency in various areas of dentistry, including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, and medical documentation.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive dental care to patients in a friendly and professional manner.
- Conduct thorough examinations and diagnose dental conditions using appropriate diagnostic tools.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures including fillings, extractions, root canals, and preventive care.
- Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and maintain a sterile environment.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation for all patient interactions and treatments performed.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff to provide exceptional patient care.
- Stay current with advancements in dental technology and techniques to enhance practice quality.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
- Experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred; familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures related to general dentistry and oral surgery.
- Proficiency in endodontics and the ability to perform complex procedures as needed.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and education.
