The Ivory Systems' ideal candidate for this role will be a seasoned professional with expertise in pharmaceutical distribution. As a Distribution Management Expert, you will be responsible for directing the worldwide distribution of investigational medicinal products for clinical studies. This includes developing, planning, and optimizing distribution strategies as well as driving and monitoring external service providers.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement global distribution strategies for clinical trials.
- Manage and monitor external service providers to ensure timely delivery of medicinal products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and process improvements.
- Represent Ivory Systems in committees related to clinical development and assume responsibility for specific fields such as import/export and temperature monitoring.
- Mentor new employees and represent team leaders.
Requirements:
- Several years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with a focus on international clinical IMPs supply.
- Good understanding of clinical development processes and product-specific properties.
- In-depth knowledge of international regulatory, legal, and customs regulations.
- Experience in vendor management and logistics optimization.
