Performance Tester (JMeter)

This position requires US Citizenship and ability to obtain a public clearance.

Upon position being accepted, candidate must be able to come into office to complete paperwork, verify identification and pick up laptop. Candidates outside of the Rockville, MD area are responsible for any and all travel expenses to the IvoryCloud offices. After a 90 day probation period, employee will be reimbursed.

Responsibilities

• Analyze the performance of an existing large enterprise application through the existing performance test suite.
• Analyze the existing performance test suite to determine the quality of its configuration and its test cases.
• Improve the existing test suite or develop a new one for the deployed functionality.
• Ensures consistency and adherence to organizational practices. Builds and evaluates quality checkpoints
• Develops test strategies, test approaches for performance and automation events
• Striving for efficiency, consistency, and effectiveness

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with JMeter is required.
• Minimum 4-5 years of increasingly responsible experience in the fields of quality assurance and quality control.

Experience

• 3 years of JMeter automation & performance testing experience
• 5 yrs experience as a Software Quality Assurance Tester
• 5 yrs experience in creating test plans and test cases from technical requirements
• Ability to organize and lead testing efforts and the ability to write a test approach/strategy.
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
• Experience working in an agile engineering environment
• Demonstrate knowledge of TFS or related tools.

Education

B.S. in Business/Technology related field required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
