What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Bartender position at IVP?
IVP at The Beach House is a seasonal facility. We are open March - October.
We are looking for 1 or 2 bartenders to help us finish out the season.
We are looking for enthusiastic cashiers and bartenders to provide an excellent guest experience in this happy, fun bar. Good candidates will have high energy levels, be extremely sociable, honest and hard working. Candidates must be able to work at 1- or 2-week day shifts and weekends.
Experience as a bartender, knowledge of commonly made drinks and shots is required for this position.
Job Duties: Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, preparing them efficiently, and building a rapport with clientele, Handle card and cash transactions, ensuring that all funds in the cash drawer are accounted for by the end of the shift, Keep an eye on patron intoxication levels and respond appropriately, Identify belligerent customers, and work with management when needed to maintain a safe environment, Clean the bar and the surrounding area of spills and other messes as needed, Other duties as requested
Responsibilities
· Prepare alcohol and non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
· Interact with customers, take food and drink orders.
· Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
· Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
· Plan and present menu
· Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
· Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies

Pay: From $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
