About The Role
The Analytics Engineer I will support the design and maintenance of data pipelines and reporting-ready data models that power decision-making across clinical, operational, and financial teams. Working within our Azure-based data environment, this role offers the opportunity to collaborate with analysts, business leaders, and other stakeholders to turn raw data into meaningful insights.
What You Will Do
- Assist in transforming raw data into structured, reporting-ready datasets using tools like Azure Data Factory
- Support the development and maintenance of self-service data models that promote a single “source of truth”
- Write and optimize SQL queries and views to support analytics and reporting needs
- Partner with stakeholders across finance, operations, and other departments to gather data requirements and support ad hoc reporting
- Contribute to the upkeep of data model documentation and metadata
- Collaborate with the BI team to build and enhance dashboards and visualizations in Tableau
- Demonstrate a growth mindset and eagerness to develop technical skills and domain knowledge
We’re looking for a data-driven problem solver who is detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to grow. You might be a great fit if you have:
- Foundational proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases
- Exposure to data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
- An analytical mindset and commitment to data accuracy and integrity
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain data concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- A collaborative, team-first mindset and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive, upbeat attitude and desire to contribute meaningfully to a growing organization
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data analytics, information systems, or a related field; or equivalent technical training/certification
- 2–3 years of experience in a data analytics or data engineering role (internships or technical projects may be considered.
- Working knowledge of ETL concepts; familiarity with Azure Data Factory is a plus
- Experience or interest in healthcare data is preferred
