About the Role
The Business Development Manager is a critical part of the IVX Health team, serving as the face of our organization in the Little Rock area. This role involves working directly with physicians, nurses, and healthcare providers to educate them on our services, build relationships, and drive referrals for infusion therapy patients.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive Growth: Increase patient referrals by building strong relationships with providers, identifying new referral sources, and attending local networking events.
- Strategically Sell: Cold-call and target new providers within specialties such as rheumatology, gastroenterology, and neurology to grow your territory. Position yourself as a trusted advisor to providers and staff.
- Plan and Execute Events: Set up and manage local events, such as trade shows, walks, or symposiums, to boost brand awareness and community engagement.
- Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with the marketing team to share local events and patient engagement stories and maintain active social media visibility.
- Serve as a Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact between referring practices and IVX Health’s operations team to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for patients and providers.
- Partner with Industry Leaders: Build collaborative relationships with pharmaceutical reps and other industry stakeholders to grow the referral pipeline.
- Stay Organized: Maintain accurate and timely records in CRM tools and reporting platforms.
Qualifications
ESSENTIAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS
- Strong working knowledge of managed care plans, insurance carriers, referrals, and precertification procedures, as well as documentation guidelines
- Interest or experience in the pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry desired
- Strong customer service, organizational and communication skills
- Competitive spirit, with customer-focused attitude
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external employees at all levels
- Knowledge and ability to use standard office software applications including but not limited to Internet, Outlook, and Microsoft Office
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field (or equivalent years of experience)
- Experience working directly with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff members
- Knowledge or experience in the home health, infusion, hospice, DME, or imaging sales
