ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Regional Operations Director (ROD), you will have full P&L responsibility for your market, overseeing both clinical and administrative staff. You will manage day-to-day operations across multiple infusion centers, ensuring the team consistently delivers the IVX Health operating model. By working closely with clinical leadership, you will ensure patients receive the highest standards of care, leading to market-leading patient satisfaction and outcomes. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Sales and Business Development teams to build and maintain strong relationships with key referral sources.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Market Operations Management
- Oversee the daily operations of infusion centers across the market, ensuring a seamless patient experience and optimal clinic performance.
- Serve as an on-call and escalation resource for issues that arise across the market's centers.
- Hold full responsibility for the market’s P&L, including monitoring performance across multiple infusion centers and managing potential expansions.
- Clinical and Administrative Leadership
- Lead and mentor both clinical and administrative teams within the infusion centers, overseeing recruitment, training, and ongoing development.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring all teams adhere to IVX policies and standards to enhance the patient care experience.
- Manage both clinical and non-clinical staff, overseeing key administrative functions such as payroll, scheduling, PTO management, and individual performance improvement plans.
- Operational Efficiency
- Work cross-functionally with central operations, revenue cycle, and support teams (Finance, Marketing, etc.) to identify root causes of issues and uncover opportunities for improvement, all with the goal of enhancing patient care and driving market growth.
- New Center Development
- Assist with site selection, development, and the successful opening of new infusion centers within the market.
- Communication and Staff Engagement
- Effectively communicate and disseminate key information to market staff, promoting team alignment, driving results, and fostering engagement to achieve overall business goals.
- Partner with Business Development Managers to strategize and grow patient volume, ensuring the centers are meeting patient census goals.
- Vendor and Referral Relationships
- Manage relationships with non-referring vendors, including drug representatives and supervising physicians, ensuring alignment with clinic needs.
- Maintain strong relationships with key referral sources and represent IVX Health at community and company-sponsored events.
- Industry Expertise
- Stay informed of industry trends and regulatory changes impacting infusion centers, applying relevant insights to enhance operations and patient care.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelors degree in Business Management, Healthcare Management or related field
- Minimum 5 years management experience in a healthcare setting
- Multi-site management experience
- Experience managing a P&L
- Experience working directly with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff members
