Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral health and a passion for improving the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for conducting diagnostic evaluations, developing and implementing effective behavioral therapy plans, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations while maintaining accurate medical records.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify behavioral needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques to support patients in achieving their goals.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic patient care and ensure continuity of services.
- Maintain detailed medical records and documentation in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments.
- Provide training and support to staff and caregivers on behavioral strategies and interventions.
- Advocate for patients' needs within the healthcare system and community resources.
Experience
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst is required.
- Previous experience in behavioral health settings, particularly working with individuals with developmental disabilities, is preferred.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, patient assessment techniques, and the principles of behavior analysis.
- Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation processes and the ability to develop effective treatment plans based on assessment findings.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in all aspects of patient care.
