**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at Ivy Creek Healthcare. As a Clinical Laboratory Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and collecting high-quality blood specimens for laboratory testing.
**Responsibilities:**
- Collect blood samples from patients using various techniques, including arterial puncture and venipuncture.
- Process all specimen types, including reference lab specimens, and prepare them for laboratory analysis.
- Perform waived testing and other procedures as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and specimen collection.
**Requirements:**
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- One year of phlebotomy experience is preferred, but not required for certified applicants.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Certification from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP), American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians (ASPT), or National Credentialing Association (NCA) is preferred.
