ABOUT THIS ROLE
As a Business Development Associate, your work is at the heart of what we do: you would be responsible for supporting the Sales team and Business Development team to drive effectiveness in the support of the scale and growth of the company. This includes through strategic initiatives including proposal development, proposal delivery and follow-up, increasing win rates and cultivating client relationships. The Business Development Associate will prepare thoughtful and professional quantitative and qualitative client proposals on behalf of Senior Business Development Representatives. This individual will assist in revenue growth from Senior Business Development Representative portfolios. In addition, this individual will remain in communication with the assigned Client Development Representatives once the account has been transitioned to ensure continual nurturing and to boost client retention. The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years of experience in Market Research/Expert Calls and a strong ability to identify business opportunities through strategic outreach. You will actively contribute to assisting with revenue growth from Senior Business Development Representative portfolios, evaluating marketing qualified leads (MQLs), and analyzing Requests For Quote (RFQs).

As a Business Development Associate you will be tasked to work with our Senior Director, Business Development & Senior Director, Global Bid and Sales Development. Prior experience in market research required. The market research industry plays a crucial role in understanding market dynamics, consumer preferences, and competitor behavior. As a Business Development Associate, you will be immersed in the market research vertical, where you’ll work closely with clients to provide valuable insights that drive strategic business decisions. By analyzing Requests For Quote (RFQs), identifying business opportunities, and collaborating with internal teams, you will directly contribute to the growth of the market research sector and support the business development team in delivering actionable, data-driven proposals. This vertical is key to helping clients understand the evolving market landscape and make informed decisions.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Assist in revenue growth: You would assist in revenue growth from Senior Business Development Representative portfolios by preparing quantitative and qualitative proposals.
Assessing project progress: Work in conjunction with the internal stakeholders to troubleshoot any problematic projects and to further optimize well-performing projects.
Proposal preparation: Coordinate with internal teams to assess the best solution to our client’s RFQs, including preparing pricing and feasibility.
Identify and qualify leads: Understanding needs and pain points, then collaborating with the business development team to help close deals.
Tracking and analyzing: Track and analyze bidding opportunities, ensuring effective follow-ups and documentation within the CRM (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
Reporting: Establish and maintain a highly professional rapport with clients, internal teams, and external partners.

REQUIREMENTS
1-2 years of experience in market research, business development, or sales-related roles
Bachelor's degree
Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze and deliver client proposals
Outstanding communication skills and demonstrated ability to craft compelling outreach Messages
Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a drive to assist in increasing win rates
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently
A proactive and adaptable mindset, eager to learn and contribute to a fast-paced sales environment
Fluent English is required; verbal & written
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce
Prior experience in market research required
