Description
A successful and busy reproductive endocrinology and infertility practice in Charlottesville Virginia is seeking a per diem Procedure Room Nurse (RN or BSN required). We pride ourselves in teamwork, quality patient care, and a warm and caring environment for our patients. We need a candidate who has close attention to detail, easily multitasks in a fast-paced environment, enjoys teamwork, and has experience in electronic medical records. Primary responsibilities would include scrubbing, pre- and post-op care, circulating to assist in egg retrievals, embryo transfers, and office based surgical procedures, and providing discharge instructions, and cooperative efforts with other employees.
Primary responsibilities:
- Scrubbing
- Providing pre- and post-op care and discharge instructions
- Inserting IVs
- Circulating and assisting in egg retrievals, embryo transfers and office-based surgeries
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
The candidate will need:
- Close attention to detail
- Ability to multitask
- Collaborate in a team environment
Per diem morning position to include weekdays, at least 2 weekends and holidays with competitive wages. A candidate with a flexible schedule is needed as this role will be back-up to a primary team, primary some days and will help fill gaps for vacation and sick leave. Expect 8-10 hours/week with up to 20 hours/week when filling in for vacations. Weekend availability is a must. Compensation ranges from $45-50/ hour, DOE.
