Social Media Coordinator
We are seeking a creative and motivated Social Media Coordinator to join our growth and marketing team. As the Social Media Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing our social media strategies, aimed at engaging our audience, raising awareness about our fertility services, and fostering a supportive online community. If you are passionate about utilizing social media to make a positive impact on individuals' lives, this role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our mission. This role reports to the Ivy Fertility Brand Manager and will be a hybrid role, with 50% of time spent at San Diego Fertility Center’s Del Mar location.
Experience in healthcare, preferably in marketing or business development is preferred. Experience in public relations and local media is a plus. The ideal candidate includes an outgoing personality with demonstrated strong interpersonal and creative skills complemented with comfort relying on technology, data analysis and metrics.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Content Creation: Develop compelling and relevant content for various social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Tiktok, etc.) that showcases our centers’ expertise, success stories, educational resources, and patient-focused content.
- Assist in the creation and distribution of social media templates for accounts posting locally, including on-site at San Diego Fertility Center
- Assist in developing and executing influencer marketing strategies, including identifying and building relationships with key influencers to promote brand values and increase engagement across social media platforms
- Social Strategy Execution: Implement social media plans and calendar, ensuring consistent and timely posting of content. Monitor trends and engagement metrics to optimize strategy and drive increased online presence.
- Community Engagement: Actively engage with followers, respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and empathetic manner. Foster a sense of community by initiating conversations, addressing concerns, and providing valuable information.
- Campaign Management: Coordinate and execute social media campaigns aligned with clinic events, awareness months, and promotional activities. Collaborate with marketing and design teams to create visually appealing and impactful materials.
- Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze social media performance using relevant metrics. Provide insights and recommendations based on data to enhance the effectiveness of future content and campaigns.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on the latest social media trends, algorithm changes, and industry best practices. Integrate new approaches and features into our social media strategy to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience in PR/local media a plus
- Must have a high level of creativity and visual expertise.
- Must possess excellent independent judgment and accuracy.
- Must be organized and possess knowledge and skills required for position.
- Must demonstrate problem solving skills related to position.
- Must be able to multitask, prioritize, and be detail oriented.
- Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Must have ability to create and nurture new relationships.
- Must have the ability to seek assistance from physicians and/or Brand Manager when necessary.
- Demonstrate the ability to be a team player and possess a willingness to perform duties that are assigned or delegated to him/her as well as a willingness to perform duties of other employees as needed.
- Must be proficient using technology including but not limited to social media platforms, scheduling software, and Canva
- Support the company vision and mission.
- Participates in identifying problems and suggesting solutions.
- Maintains HIPAA and Confidentiality for all patient, clinic and company information.

Salary ranges from $55,000 – $62,500/ year, DOE.
Salary : $55,000 - $62,500
