We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lawn Care Specialist to join our team. This position involves providing comprehensive lawn care and landscaping services to our clients, ensuring their outdoor spaces are well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing. Duties
- Perform regular lawn maintenance tasks, including mowing, edging, and trimming.
- Dig and prepare soil for planting flowers, shrubs, and trees.
- Landscape residential and commercial properties by planting gardens and installing hardscapes.
- Provide tree care services such as pruning, trimming, and removal when necessary.
- Operate hand tools and machinery safely and efficiently for groundskeeping tasks.
- Assist in snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access for clients.
- Maintain equipment by performing routine checks and minor repairs as needed.
- Build landscape features such as retaining walls, patios, or walkways to enhance outdoor spaces.
- Communicate with clients regarding their landscaping needs and provide expert advice on plant care.
Requirements
- Previous experience in lawn care or landscaping is preferred but not required.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to operate various tools and equipment effectively.
- Proficiency in using hand tools for gardening and landscaping tasks.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy materials.
- Attention to detail with a keen eye for aesthetics in landscaping design.
- Valid driver's license may be required depending on job responsibilities.
